Last week!

Christmas! I thought spending chrismas on the beach with a bbq, but it was raining all day! It was a strange christmas, but nice! I was with Dani in a hostel in Oamaru and we were the only two quests! IN the morning the two owners took us to the neighbours for cake and champain. Then we prepared a big lunch, and in the evening we went to other neighbours, I didn't know them, we just walked in and joined the dinner with the whole family!
Today I'm moving to Mount Cook, first it was a problem because the busses were not running on the times I wanted to go but one of the neighbours were going to Twizel (close to Mount Cook) So i'm now alone in the hostel/big old (ghost?) house and wainting for the lift, I said Dani goodbye this morning (he's gonna take his plane) and the couple from the hostel left for a day out!
New Year I'll spent in Lake Tekapo,
Happy New Year!!!

See you soon again

Camper

Hay! Yesterday I arrived in Queenstown, the adventure city of New Zealand :D. The last day I walked a lot and have seen some amazing views, today I climed a mountain around 1400 meter high, (the last meters to the top were pretty exhausting but the view afterwards was so great!). For the next 5 days I rent a camper van with Dani and we're going to Milford Sounds and drive around in the area here.
See you later!

South Island!

Hey! back in the South Island again! It's a long time ago that I wrote here.. sorry for that! Finally I'm feeling better after a stupid virus attack, sometimes still bad days but most time fine now! It's now raining a lot (Franz Josef). I arrived here today after seen the Pancake rocks in Punakaiki and this morning I came from Hokitika. Tomorrow I wanna do a day hiking at Franz Josef hopefully the weather is getting better. The last weeks I've done a lot, I did the Tongariro crossing in the North Island, which was absolutely gorgious. We had the best day after a week of bad weather and a lot of wind. In total the trip took 7,5 hours (7 hours only walking, pretty exhausting, but amazing views) The volcanos were active and there came steam out of the ground on a lot of places. After being back South again I went to Abel Tasman, rent a car for a couple of days with Dani (from Spain) and we drove to the north of Abel Tasman and Cape Farewell, that was amazing as well. Completely empty, we were on a beach full with fur seal. In the middle of Abel Tasman visited a big hole in the ground (kind of cave) and near to this place was a view point, I have never been on such a dangerous and high edge without a fence.
In the next days a go to lake Wanaka, visit Queenstown and i'm gonna make a cruise in Milford Sounds (must be one of the most beautiful places in New Zealand). Yesterday I burned my photos on a cd, I think a took already more then 1000.

See you soon!
